Volunteering at BASCon

Volunteering is a good way to get an upclose and personal look at how BASCon works. Work five hours over the course of the weekend and you get a discount on the next year's con. Interested? Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Doug at volunteers@bascon.org.

Guidelines

1. Must be physically able to lift and carry for setup and breakdown. If not, appropriate jobs will be assigned.

2. Must follow job description in BASCon by laws (which is mailed to each volunteer)

3. Must be able to follow direction from Volunteer Coordinator

4. Must have flexible schedule during the con for duties

5. All volunteer duties are assigned specifically by the Volunteer Coordinator and not by another member of the Con Comm.

6. Volunteers will be responsible for using their time cards and for using the sign in/out sheet. Time cards must be initialed by appropriate Con Comm or Staff member upon completion of assignment.
